Temporary Interim Pastor

Jim and Terry serve as Deaf Ministry leaders at their home church, Valley Forge Baptist. Jim also serves as Vice President of Silent Word Ministries. Silent Word Ministries strive to reach the deaf community with the Gospel. This is unique ministry that specializes in ministering to the deaf – a people group that is often overlooked. Jim and Terry’s heart is to continue to reach the deaf community and then to train other leaders to help reach the deaf community.

Joe Faulk

Joe Faulk

Associate Pastor, Children and Media Director

Pastor Joe studied at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA and New England Baptist College in Southington, CT. He graduated from New England Baptist College in 2007.

He and his wife, Susannah, joined the joined the staff in 2010. Joe oversees children's ministries and events. He endeavors to teach children to keep sensitive hearts toward God, obey His Word, and find His will for their lives as they develop into adolescence. He strives to keep an exciting atmosphere for the children whether in class, Patch Club, or a special activity.

Pastor Joe also administrates the church media.

Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Crichton founded the Greater Rhode Island Baptist Temple in March of 1975. Together with his wife Ginny, he faithfully served the Lord, our church, and our community for 37 years as our senior pastor.  In September of 2012, Pastor Crichton became our Pastor Emeritus as he stepped down from the role of senior pastor. Currently, he and Ginny continue to serve the Lord, as an extension of our church, in the roles of helping other ministries with church planting, itinerant preaching, and personal evangelism, not to mention numerous speaking engagements literally around the world.
